I went to Zoo Miami with the Miami Photography Club to snap photos. While waiting for our host, we were happily greeted by these two flamingos. Of course I could not resits and began snapping even though the workshop had yet to begin.

Their colors and eyes are fascinating. What beautiful creatures. I felt like I could watch them frolic in the pond all day.

I took the photos with the Canon EOS R6 Mark II and Canon 100mm to 400mm f5.6-8. That lens is rather inexpensive in comparison to the faster zoom lenses which cost four times as much. I think I paid less than $550 direct from Canon. But still manages to get a a semi blurry bokeh and captures nice details.
